I haven't posted for a while, due to being manically busy at school, organising concerts, attending parents evenings, dressing up as a bunny to host a fashion show, the usual stuff! Term ends on Friday so the end is in sight...Have spent a wonderful day today gardening in the glorious sunshine. Below are a few snaps I took this afternoon, showing some of the things happening in the garden.
Gorgeous snaps Martin! The blooms of Euphorbia are always a welcome sight in the spring, a must have in every garden I would say (just be careful with the sap!) :)
ReplyDeleteLots of lovely spring happenings in your garden. I've been looking for a great sunny day ... sounds like you got it instead!
ReplyDeleteYes G & M, I've paid the price once or twice for thinking I'm tough enough not to wear gloves when cutting them back!
ReplyDeleteHope the sun shines on you soon Bernie! :)
Good to see you back Martin, good shot of the pasque flower, but the Euphorbia steals the show.
ReplyDeleteI agree Alistair, but if I had a pound for every rogue Euphorbia seedling I have pulled out of cracks in the patio this winter I'd be a very wealthy chappie! In the Summer they fire their seeds far and wide when warmed by the sun, making a delightful popping noise, but they become such a nuisance later. Almost as bad as Centranthus, which I now won't grow due to its voracious self-seeding tendencies.
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI wanted to email you in regards in any possible advertising opportunities you may have with your website. I'm looking to earn support for a national cause and get visibility for the "plant 1 billion trees" project which Andrew Liveris and the Nature Conservancy have partnered up on for people to donate $1 to. Let me know if you would be interested at all in supporting this cause or if you want more information on it. I look forward to talking to you soon!
