Winged Wonders

Yesterday I popped up to RHS Wisley in Surrey. A new tradition there is to allow exotic butterflies to flit around the new glasshouse. It's quite a sight, especially as some of them are huge! There were hundreds of people jostling to take photographs. So just for you I set off the fire alarm in order to take these shots....(not really!)

  2. No, the scones looked a bit 'cakey', I like mine rustic and crumbly. Why can't people get scones right? I'm going to have to start another blog about scones I think...

  4. Fantastic photos Martin! Keep an eye out on Kew too, they let tropical butterflies fly around the Princess of Wales glasshouse in the summer.

  6. Amazing photos of butterflies. I love cheese scones. If you're coming up this way two of the best places for scones are Glendoick garden and garden centre near Perth and the Tweedies in Ezell. Edzell do a brilliant Gardens open day on Sunday 26 June. Well worth a visit.
