Tree Peony

It's been a great year for my tree peony, which has flowered its socks off this week. Sherbert lemon is not my favourite colour in the garden but you have to be grateful for anything I suppose! The petals are falling to the ground now, but the foliage is making a grand statement by the pond.

  1. That is actually quite a stunning color of yellow.
(and I'm kind of picky about yellows.)

  2. I do like Tree Peonies and that colour looks fab too, great for spring. Even without the flowers the leaves are garden worthy.

    Belated Happy Easter btw :)

  4. Very pretty. Love the color on it. I have a white one but I moved it last year and even though it's leafing out well I kind of think it won't bloom this year now since I lost part of it.

  5. I guess I'm just wary of yellow as most of my flowers are pink and I find they clash. You are right G & M it's the leaves that make the plant. Hope your plant flowers next year Cher.
